Hi,
I'm trying ncursesw for mutt on UTF-8 locale.
Mutt displays Japanese correctly with S-Lang-UTF 1.4.9.
But ncursesw occasionally fails to process Japanese.
The problem appears when a Japanese message is written
to a line an ASCII message was shown.
For example, see these two lines:
JJJJAAAAJJJJ
JJJJJJJJJJJJ
"JJ" represents a Japanese wide character.
If I press <enter> key right after mutt shows these two
lines, the string of the second line will be written to
the first line. And some characters of it will be garbled.
i.e.
JaJbAAAAJcJd
J1J2J3J4J5J6
will be
J1J2 J4 J5J6
(J3 will be lost, and two spaces will be added around J4.)
The version of ncurses I'm using is 5.4 (20040724).
Thanks for reading,
