Hello,

I think I've found an error in the ncurses_intro documentation.
The set_field_type function with the TYPE_NUMERIC must be:

int set_field_type(FIELD *field,
                TYPE_NUMERIC, 
                int padding,
                int vmin,
                int vmax);

instead of:

int set_field_type(FIELD *field,
                TYPE_NUMERIC, 
                int padding,
                double vmin,            /* double is false */
                double vmax);
