      I think the Deleted flag should be treated like the Recent
      flag when filing a message.  That is, it should not be flagged
      as Recent or Deleted in its new home.

      The situation arises if you delete a message but haven't
      expunged it yet.  You then realize you wanted to write it
      to another folder, so you do so.  But that copy of the
      message -- in that other folder -- is marked as Deleted!

      This can't be the Right Thing!

   I agree; this has bitten me, too, but never badly because I always
   have `imail-expunge-confirmation' set to (VERBOSE SHOW-MESSAGES).
   This is fixed in CVS.
