    Turns out that IMAIL will insert
    multiple X-IMAIL-INTERNAL-TIME headers if (1) IMAIL writes a message,
    (2) GNU Emacs's RMAIL views the message, and (3) IMAIL rewrites the
    folder.  If he remembers, Chris probably knows more about this logic
    than I do, but I'll take a closer look at it this evening.

Well, that sequence of events probably *did* happen,
though the steps 1-3 may have been on different days
(or at least different login sessions).
