Thanks for the explanation.

In configure, the autoconf macro AC_FUNC_GETLOADAVG checks if there is a 
getloadavg function in -lutil, if so it automatically sets 
ac_cv_func_getloadavg_setgid=yes. That seems a little presumptuous to me.
