Use --log-facility option either from the command line or in the pop3d
initialization file, e.g.:

    gnu-pop3d -d 10 -t 600 --log-facility local2

The man pages are incomplete and often inaccurate. Do not rely on them.
The mailutils.info file is the authoritative documentation
for mailutils.
