I've got the update to automake 1.6 mostly done in my local sandbox.
One of the things I notice is that a 'make distcheck' can no longer
proceed. It seems am1.6 considers it a fatal error if mh/Makefile.in
doesn't exist.
Mind if I make it enabled only based on a configure flag (default it
off)?
