Well, not really. I'd rather call it counter-aesthetic :^) I just tried
to keep the names uniform. It's quite OK to rename them to
~/.mailutils, ~/.sieve, ~/.frm etc. By the way, it seems even
necessary for mail utility, since its 'standard' startup file is
called '.mailrc' and thus clashes with our naming scheme.
