Agreed.  But it was not intended this way.
For example Camel, is a very interesting effort and I would even send
patches and help if I could run gnome/bonobo etc ..

Ditto for libpostal.  Different philosophy.

"World Domination", "competitors" are use with humor.
And seriously (friendly) competition is good, when I learned about Camel, my
firt impression was coooooll, interesting twists ...

The effort so far been steady, albeit slow, we're all busy with morgages
and other "real" proplems(shoveling the **** snow).  Hopefully it will come
out of it something usefull.  But even if it did not, the experience that I
acquire was worth it.
