There were two cygwin releases. The first (prematurely) included some of
Peter Rosin's stuff, and that brought a few complaints. Not because
there was anything wrong with PR's work, but because the incomplete
merge was a bit confusing. So, after backing out that, leaving just
official libtool git master + my patches for the second cygwin release,
I've had no complaints.
However, I have (sadly) not gotten any direct reports of performance
under cross-build scenarious. I think I'm going to have to set up a
fedora VM and install a cross chain myself, but I've got quite a bit on
my own plate at the moment.
