Hi,

I'm interested in contributing to the project if there is still a need.

I have a pretty good understanding of the TCP/IP stack & very basic
understanding of IPv6. I have been using C for writing small utilities
on and off for over 10 years, including some networking code, although
I'm sure my best practices & API knowledge is a bit out of date (I still
have the 1990 edition of Stevens UNIX Network Programming on my shelf).

I'm a linux sysadmin (10+ years) by trade & I don't have any experience
on a real collaborative software development project, so I'm willing to
take direction. I'm also eager to commit some time - contributing to GNU
is something I've wanted to do for a while, and now I feel like I
finally have some schedule bandwidth.
