Using the NFSd from the Hurd seems to me like a good idea now, but there's
something i don't understand:

You (and Alfred) said that every GNU package must have its copyright assigned
to the FSF, but some packages (including inetutils) have code taken from
other sources as per non-copylefted (BSDish) license.

When some code is not copylefted, it's ok to use it for a GNU package without
assigning copyright?
