Hey to you all :)

I recently formatted my disks where GRUB was resident, it used to be a dual
boot (XP/RH). The problem I have now is that whenever I boot the computer
it says:

GRUB

and just hangs. I've tried, per advice, fixboot and fixmbr but nothing
seems to work. I tried writing on Linuxforums.org but wow, dead place ...
at least in the forum I wrote in >_<

Did you try ms-dos's fdisk /mbr?

Cheers,

Leen

That I did not, according to M$ fdisk /mbr should do exactly the same as fixmbr. I do not have MS-DOS either, they took that out of XP and hence fdisk is not in there.
