I think this is a great thing, personally, especially with the messages
being cc'd to bug-grub.  It's definitely a lot easier for me to
double-check if I've seen something as an open issue from looking at the
Savannah BTS instead of having to grep my mail.

In addition to being centralized, they can be tracked.  Which is nice
for me personally so that when bugs are reported in Red Hat's bugzilla,
I regularly send mail to the list about them if they're not obvious to
me and also present upstream.  Using the BTS instead will let me provide
the original reporter an easy way to follow the discussion / provide
more information if needed without having to subscribe to bug-grub.

Patches is a little harder, because I like being able to comment on
patches inline.  Then again, with the mails being sent, if the patch is
included in the mail, then that would work.  Do you know if this is how
this works?
