Hi Øystein,

I was going send an email to this list about it as well (Possible movement to GTK3). I did a -DGTK_DISABLE_DEPRECATED (but not -DGSEAL_ENABLE) a few months back and had noted that we were using a number of deprecated functions but it didn't appear to be something that would have bee substantially bad that would require a large development effort. As for -DGSEAL_ENABLE I can't say I have.

Any concerns about GTK+3 on Windows? Maybe there are none, but things seem to be more finicky on that platform.

Michael

Hi,

As GTK+3 is right around the corner, and this will remove old deprecated API from the GTK+ 2.x series, it would be nice if we where a little prepared for this.

I guess we have some deprecated API calls left in the code, don't we?

Has anyone tried building with -DGTK_DISABLE_DEPRECATED and -DGSEAL_ENABLE ?
