First question I have would be if you have downloaded and installed the latest Nvidia drivers (OpenGL) for your card (From the Nvidia site):

http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x86_169.25_whql.html  (if you are using 32 Bit Vista)
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x64_169.25_whql.html  (if you are using 64 Bit Vista)
