I'm glad you brought this point up. I was surprised last month when I built
up my first version in a while, and that the QuickTime interface/API that
apple uses in its framework was removed from sound.c . I knew it was there
before because I had made some bug fixes.

Just so happens Christian that you did this between version 1.50 and 1.51 of
sound.c . Was this a mistake or was there a reason why Quicktime was
completely removed?

I'd consider putting Quicktime support back in but I am unsure why the
quicktime framework was removed (It did work). I should point out that the
Quicktime framework is a defacto install on any of the 10.x Apple OS's.

If you can enlighten me, we can probably make some changes. This is the diff
of changes that is being discussed:
