If you installed GNUBg for windows couple of months ago, you have a .gnubgrc
file with commands in it.
These commands are loaded _after_ those in .gnubgautorc.
Both files - .gnubgautorc and .gnubgrc - are in the gnubg directory
(normally : c:\program files\gnubg).

Delete all command lines in .gnubgrc and things will work fine.
(or overwrite your .gnubgrc file with the empty one that is attached here)
