Sorry, that still doesn't explain things well enough for me to
understand them. I don't know what you mean by a "difference whose
value is below 3".

Can you please submit a patch to the source code instead? That might
explain what you want better. You can use "diff -u" to generate the
patch. (Sending an executable is not a good way to explain things;
among other things, I don't use Cygwin.)
