ar --help could be clearer

ar --help says
  p            - print file(s) found in the archive

say "...the raw files..." or "directly to standard output"
i.e. you'll be sorry.

  t            - display contents of archive

say "list information about the contents of the archive" or something
like that... I mean I don't know if I'm gonna get a pr/less/more/cat
output or a ls/dired output as worded now.

I didn't check the man, Info page for the same problems.
