Please note that in the above line, you have _accent_ characters (´),
not single quotes ('). If that's what you really typed, this may
already explain your problem --- accents are non-ASCII characters, and
typically obtained by non-American keyboard layouts with so-called
"dead keys", by typing a sequence like <accent><blank>, instead of a
single key.
So: make sure you really get a single quote character, not some
accent. If all else fails, you may want to use the windows "key
table" applet or type <rightAlt>+(<0>,<3>,<9>) to get it.
