Hi all, I've installed GNATS via a package out on www.sunfreeware.com on a Solaris 2.6 machine. When I try to use send-pr, however, I get the following message: send-pr: could not read /usr/local/share/gnats/vnet for categories list. I was under the assumption that everything I needed would be in the package.
The GNATS installation which the package has been created from would have to contain some default settings, and those may not suit you. You will probably have to go through the post-installation configuration detailed in the GNATS manual to get a setup that works for you, somewhat offsetting the advantages of using a package.
Anyway, GNATS 3.113.1 should build nicely on Solaris 2.6, so if I were you, I'd try to build it and set it up from scratch. The GNATS 3 manual is not as good as it should be, but you should be able to make things work. Otherwise, wait for GNATS 4, which has better docs and is an altogether much nicer piece of software.
