[Bug-ddrescue] partition size for ddrescue direct to device |

hello to the makers of ddrescue,
thank you very much for this excellent tool.
i have one question. i am running ddrescue on mac os x 10.4. i am
doing a direct copy from one device to the other. however the
partition on the target drive is slightly larger than the source. i
am using this command
./ddrescue -v /dev/disk0s3 /dev/disk2s5 RescueLog.txt
is this going to produce an unusable volume because the target is not
the same size as the source? i have not stopped the progress and
tried to mount it yet.
i have several drives to work with but i started running ddrescue 12
hours ago on the bad disk, and i fear if i go over the drive again it
will not get as much data off. what should i do? if the target
partition was supposed to be the same size, is there any way to get
the data that i did recover once it is finished or will the target
device be useless?
please help!
thanks!
