That's only because you haven't thought through the analogy
properly. If a house is built with a garage, and the trashcan
is put in the garage, and the lid is taken off to inspect whether
the trashcan should be taken to the front lawn or not, and after
it is emptied, the garage is pulled down and put into the
trashcan which is then positioned into the back of the house,
then current processing starts to make sense. Understand now?
