Do you know what "ambiguous" means? It literally means that something
can be interpreted in multiple ways.
So, if a sentence is ambiguous, then your assertion that it "can't not
be read that way" must be false.
Anyway, there have been new wording proposals already. It's up to Chet
whether they'll be accepted. Anything more you have to say on the topic
will need to be specific, and not this generalized, self-contradictory
academic nonsense.
