Remember to cover the basics, that is, what you expected to happen and
what in fact did happen.
While editing a LaTeX file, C-c ? calls TeX-doc which in many cases
brings up the info file about LaTeX. With Debian sarge's emacs-21.4a,
this does not work. The message in the info buffer is "Autoloading
failed to define function Info-find-file".
C-h f Info-find-file yields:
,----
| Info-find-file is an autoloaded Lisp function in `info'.
| [Arg list not available until function definition is loaded.]
| not documented
`----
This is the same message I get with Emacs 22.0.50.1 before loading
info.el. However, even after explicitly saying "M-x load-library RET
info RET" in emacs-21.4a, the output about Info-find-file does not
change, and C-h ? still doesn't work.
Regards, Frank
