Hello,
maybe this is not the correct list for this question.
If so, please tell me so that I can go to help-bison (or another
list).
I' played around a bit with lalr1.cc and modified it to produce
a pull-style parser (i.e. it generates an iterator that can be
advanced from token to token).
Now I noticed that the generated parser is covered by the GPL.
I noticed in the mail archive that the change was made about a
year ago, but I couldn't find a rationale.
So I ask whether this decision is final or are there chances that
the non-GPL clause from yacc.c is extended to lalr1.cc?
As the parser I work on is for an environment where no
restricting licenses are allowed (i.e. only licenses like BSD
are accepted), I have to derive my skeleton from yacc.c if
the license on lalr1.cc isn't liberated.
