Teus,

All I found at the site you sent is the two archives.
Is the smarty fix automatically applied when installing from the new .6 tar.gz?
Or was that perhaps the wrong link?
I don't see a special smarty readme file in the tar.gz found at the link.

There is no need to uninstall the previous version of bibledit-web.

If the old version is available at site/bibledit, since the new is
available from site/bibledit-web, it may be good to remove the old
version lest somebody uses it and gets database errors.

A fix for the problem that the smarty directory was not writeable has
been released, and can be obtained from
http://bibleconsultants.dyndns.org/downloads/temporal/.

Once it gets past this hurdle, then after you enter the right
credentials for the MySQL database, all should be working again.
