Hi Teus,Currently in BE the way to add a footnote semi-automatically is to open the Styles window, scroll down to "Notes" and expand that menu, then double-click on Footnote. This brings up a nice dialog for inserting the footnote. Otherwise it must be done in USFM Code view, where the markers are inserted manually, which leads to errors.
Would it be possible, please, to add an item to the BE Insert menu: "Insert Footnote"? The students we're working with aren't ready to explore Styles yet, and their 10" netbooks don't make it easy to have the Styles window open. The only reason they need Styles is for footnotes. Having this Insert Footnote dialog available from a menu would be very helpful to them.
Blessings, Kim
