Hi Phil,

The program has been doing that freezing on me too a few times. Please 
file  a bug report with all the information that you have, so it can be 
followed up.

There are a few git errors in your log file:

Although the box to use git is unchecked, bibledit still uses git 
internally for storing the history of your project. However, the errors 
should not occur. If you were able to send me file "1 Peter/1/data" of 
project orbt or the project you are working on, that might help to find 
out what exactly happens there.
