Follow-up Comment #1, bug #28338 (project bibledit):
I just had paste fail in pasting into a verse. The method I was using was to
highlight the text I wanted to replace, then give the Paste command.
In the verse and in the heading earlier, instead of pasting, the text
highlighted disappeared.
