Details:

In BE 3.3.49, trying out the new printing feature (tried with 2 projects): 

File/Project/Printing: As soon as 'writing document' shows up, an error
message come:
'While formatting the text problems were encountered. See ...

System log shows:
Using non-standard datafolder /media/hda2/linux/bibledit/.bibledit
There are not enough access permissions for this data folder. Resetting to
/home/wolfgang/.bibledit
Directory /home/wolfgang/.bibledit/subversion, containing subversion history,
can be deleted if no longer used
Fontconfig warning: "~/.fonts.conf", line 17: invalid constant used :
Webserver: Address already in use
