In BE/Help/Task/Priting/Formatter it mentions:
'Bibledit needs an xslfo formatter to lay the text out on the page. It uses
XEP.'

References printing uses the new usfm layout engine, getting rid of Java and
XEP
Parallel Bible and other routines use the new usfm layout engine
