So how does one setup the software on the board? I guess you use a cross cable to get
 
I have a few D/300 SC 2E1 cards which support only 30 voice processing channels but has 2 E1 interfaces. Would I be able to use this to call itself?

What kind of a setup do you use to generate this volume of calls?

With this modification my test server was able to handle 1 200 000 calls outbound 1 200 000 calls inbound  without any port being blocked.
