Re: [Bayonne-devel] Voicetronix drops calls

If you have the system set to answer on the first ring and have caller id or other types of call services provisioned, then the voicetronix card will report the caller id event, or any stutter ring, as a false disconnect.

I have noticed at times the voicetronix card also reports a false disconnect immediately after an answer, and the "answer" script usually adds enough delay to compensate for that. If you use the answer command in your script and make sure you configured to answer after at least two rings, you should be okay. If your card is still being overly sensitive at connect, you can do a "-hangup sleep 2s" as well...

I have just installed a voicetronix openline4
card and am trying to use it with bayonne for
an IVR application.

If I call the system, my playback message is played but within a few seconds the script receives a hangup event and quits.

I guess this question has been asked before
but I could not find an answer.

Can someone please help me with this problem.

Thank you
Pradeep
