Yeah, I figured as much ;-(  Oh well, if memory serves it wasn't too 
long after the last update [to AVRStudio] that the latest parts 
(tiny[248]4) were officially announced with datasheets.  If I get the 
chance to redesign (thru-hole -> surface mount conversion) a part I 
built last year, those parts are looking quite nice, esp if I can get 
the USI to do I2C without any gotchas or glitches.

Yeah, this is a very good thing.  Now I just have to keep my toolchain 
up to date to make use of them...  Gotta give gcc 4.x a try anyway, 
seeing some pretty blatant lack of optimization with 3.4.x right now.
