Follow-up Comment #1, patch #4626 (project avr-libc):

Sorry, after looking at the patch now, I'm not so happy
with the suggested change.  As things are running right
now, the filenames as generated are exactly those filenames
as they are used to upload the documentation files to
savannah's download area.

I suggest you resubmit a patch where only the name of the
installed files is going to be changed, i.e. in case of
--enable-versioned-doc, the files will be created internally
with the version number appended, yet they get installed into
a ``versioned'' directory with the version information omitted
from the file name itself.
