Perhaps it would also be a good idea to change the interrupt vector
table to the same way as MSP430-gcc is using by the same time.  The
new scheme definately does have some merit, but not enough for me to
justify switching right now.  But if we can bundle a number of API
changes that need to be corrdinated between GCC and avr-libc, it would
make sense.
