I certainly don't mind commercial announcements. However, this mailing list
(avr-libc-dev) probably has a small number of subscribers. I would suggest that
you write something up and post it on avr-gcc-list, which is more general
purpose. In that post, you could point over to the avr-libc project and mention
that avr-libc will be supporting the new CAN device in the near future.
