Glad to see others working with AVR on the Mac!

Good question about the source, maybe I'll send them an email about  
that.  Though technically, like RedHat, they don't need to provide  
perfectly build-able source.

libusb is for avrdude to be able to use the JTAG ICE and other usb  
connected programmers.
