I agree, `TeX-view-program-list-builtin' should not hard-code absolute
paths.  I think it could act as a blueprint for users how to customize
their specific setup in `TeX-view-program-list'.  `TeX-expand-list' is
not the easiest thing to understand within AUCTeX.
