Thanks for the reply Aaron. The traffic is light all right!

I've been posting on the xmms web forum but sometimes the answers are sparse.
Example: No answers at all to the question about xmms mailing lists.
Example: No answers at all to how do I insert a comment into ~/.xmms/config
So I have been looking for another source of information.

I applied for a 1x2 three times with total rejection each time.
Gave up.
Then one day I woke up and a voice said to look at the available calls again.
I always listen to my hunches and there was N2LA, the YL who owned it had
unfortunately passed away.
Turns out N2LA was the beat call I could have gotten except maybe for N5LA (('m
in Austin TX)
but as a former 2 since 1953 I was quite satisfied.
So yes us extras get our pick but sometimes it ain't so easy as you might think
<g>.
It's not so hard to get an extra now you know. You could be N1amu.
BTW, I went to Tech also, operated W1MX a lot from the old quonset hut back in
the mid 50's.
Are you both knowledgeable and receptive to xmms questions?
I have setup an MP3 server using Slackware 9.1 that will live in the basement.
I ssh in to the basement computer and display xmms on my office computer but it
sure makes the network busy.
Is there a better way?
