Hallo Micael,

I converted cid-fonts.pdf with the pdf command string you
stated:

    pdf2swf -T 9 -G -f -vvv cid-fonts.pdf -o 1.swf

I can see no corruption there whatsoever.

I also executed pdfstrings on the resulting swf, using,

   swfstrings -f 1.swf ( > outputfile )

Examining the output file, again I see no corruption there
either. In fact the only 'unicode crap' - as you so succinctly
put it ;o) - I did see was that in the font names themselves
due to nano's failure to display certain elements of the German
character set correctly.

I've attached both files for you perusal, 1.swf and outputfile.
The latter has been exported as a pdf so as to aviod any issues
you may have displaying a standard text file. See what you think.

Perhaps you'd care to provide a little more information about
the system and software you are using? May help.

mfg,

Chris.

PS Hans, there is nothing wrong that I can see with using -vvv!!
