Re: [Swftools-common] SWF files scaled incorrectly

For all these who had the scaling problem, after more experiments, I found the flatten flag fixes my pdf's scaling problems.  In my case, swfbbox doesn't seem to help, but the flatten flag does.  Keep in mind Matthias mentioned the flatten flag was a highly experimental option, although I've been happy using it with all my openoffice exported pdf's so far.  Maybe Matthias can help to elaborate the danger involved in using this feature.  I cannot wait to see the option gets full support.

Thanks all for your inputs.

Ted

Same here.  Running swfbbox with -c does not work for me.  It only increases the input swf's file size.  But loading it via mc.loadMovie() still shows all white areas at the borders.
Similar (but not quite) to Jake's scenario, all my pdfs are exported from openoffice.  I ran pdf2swf on these pdfs then swfbbox.
I've uploaded one pdf (300k) at the following url.  Hopefully, a fix or workaround can be suggested.

Thanks, I appreciated any help or suggestion.

Usually, this can be fixed with
    swfbbox -O -c file.swf -o file.swf
.
The "-c" option is important, as it will correct the bounding boxes in
a way that MovieClip.loadMovie() sees the correct dimensions.
