Thanks for that report- using the image you provided I was able to
locate and fix the problem (The png decompression for 32 bit RGBA images 
had a bug).
I'll upload the changes to CVS as soon as possible. 
(savannah is still offline, but it seems they are working on it so let's
 hope that CVS will be back start of next week)
