I should use àèìòù which I suppose should be
&(aeiou)grave; but I still have not checked if they
work.
anyway, from my experience I can say you that html
entities are often a subset of unicode entities, even
if using xml you can call them even via
&#number_for_char;
BTW still not tried to convert them with xsltproc+our
dtd..
