Yo might still be interested in these answers to questions from your
previous mail:

   What compiler are you using? 

I do compiles like this (test ones) with 1.2 javac. For normal use I
prefer jikes but it has some byte code generation problems (which is
why I use Sun's compiler for testing).


    It looks like the paperclips.jar distributed with
   the cvs download doesn't match the code. 

That's right. It's actually from the ALPHA release. I change it
whenever I do any kind of release.


   I walked through webappd.java, and I don't see how any
   default servlets can possibly be getting registered.

The init for the file serving is done by:

  gnu.paperclips.boot.WebAppInitializer

which also handles the xml stuff.
