make xkbcommon fails with the following error in the log:

I configured with:

./configure --enable-64 --enable-native-build --enable-octave=stable
--enable-pic-flag host_alias=gnu-linux --with-pkg-dir=../mxe-octave-pkg
--with-ccache --enable-openblas --enable-system-x11-libs
