Ok Guillaume.

Thanks for telling me it.

I'm investigating every single detail from the makefile and trying to understand the problems I'm getting right now.
For example: "ls: /opt/local/etc/openssl/certs: No such file or directory". I suspect that I will have to change de makefile to avoid this warning. Because I have openssl, but there is no certs file  on its directory.

What do you think?

Regards.

Mac compilation shouldn’t be a problem, as long as you follow the README.
This platform is way more Autoconf/Automake friendly than Windows.

Be prepared that the dependencies take some time to install (GTK, ..).

I used Debian (Mint) and I can reliably reproduce this to complile, I never tried on a Mac.  I normally use Windows and gave up on that.

I'm afriad I'm of little use to you, hopefully someone else who uses a Mac will reply!
