I would like to write a glissando leading into a note without a starting note. Perhaps the term is not glissando, but we encounter it often in jazz where the trumpets and trombones will "slide" up to a note to accentuate. It may be called a "scoop" but that's speculation on my part. Here's an example: Can this be done (by a mortal)?
